The Sunburnt Cow Handmade Shop's Udderly Amazing New Shop Contest is now underway!!

The above pictured soap is in a lovely Lavender Vanilla Dreams scent, though I can make another batch in another fragrance. (I have a bunch of fragrances that the winner can choose from). One thing about Lavender Vanilla Dreams: I don't particularly care for Lavender, but wow! This scent is amazing!

My Features

I'm really happy about all the features I've received for my woodless burlap frames over at All Thumbs Crafts.

My faux stained glass was in the top ten links over at All Things Domestic link party.

Just put up an artsy fartsy piece, too - cardboard wall art. I really had a lot of fun doing it.

Terry from Cherished Treasures saw my tutorial on ragged fabric flowers and incorporated it onto a hang tag. It turned out beautifully! She emailed and said she's using the flowers in a new banner she's putting up soon. I'm so glad that a tutorial I made inspired someone to try it and put their own spin on it!

We didn't get too hard hit with the blizzard that blew through here a couple days ago. Probably got about eight inches of snow. It's hard to tell since everything drifts so much here due to the high winds. Let's hope most of it will melt within the next few days.

Sunburnt Cow's Udderly Amazing New Shop Contest!

You're cordially invited to a really BIG event!

What: The inaugural Udderly Amazing New Shop Contest at the Sunburnt Cow

When: Beginning April 1st

Who: You!! If you have an online shop that's six months and under, you can enter to win this Udderly Amazing New Shop Contest. If your shop is over six months, come cheer the contestants on. Plus, we need YOU to help choose who will win!

How: Based on your voting, some contestants will move on to the next round. Our judges will then determine who will be that month's Udderly Amazing New Shop winner!

Once the contest goes into the judging phase, the criteria will be based on a point system involving marketability; technical (clear pictures, etc.); craftsmanship; inventory; variety; and bonus points.

The winner will receive some awesome exposure on all the participating judges' blogs, as well as being regularly featured on the Sunburnt Cow for at least four months. Additionally, if the winner has a button banner, that banner will remain on the Sunburnt Cow's sidebar for six months.
